Evan Curtin is a Staff Applied Scientist at Relativity, specializing in machine learning and generative AI systems. At Relativity, he played a key role in developing and launching Relativity aiR for Review, a product leveraging LLMs to streamline document review for eDiscovery practitioners. He has also developed advanced active-learning methods, including TAR 2.0 systems.
Previously, Evan optimized pricing algorithms at Coalition, Inc., and built fraud-detection models at Capital One, consistently proving the effectiveness of machine learning solutions in high-risk business scenarios.
Evan holds a Master’s in Chemistry from Drexel University and studied computational quantum chemistry and high-performance computing at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
